Before the move
- Export server/U inventory and cabling diagrams
- Reserve target rack U, A+B power and ports
- Document IP plan, BGP/peering and firewall changes
- Finish backup and rollback tests
Cutover day
- Announce the maintenance window and tune alerts
- Validate physical seating and power
- Confirm cutover with network up and service health checks
- Decommission the old site only after stability
