This page explains Kuzey Datacenter's obligations under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and the rights of data subjects who visit our websites or use our services.
Protecting personal data in compliance with Turkish legislation is a core priority for Kuzey Datacenter and its brands.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Your data is processed in accordance with KVKK, the Electronic Communications Law, and regulations issued by the ICT Authority and the Personal Data Protection Authority. Technical and organizational measures are applied to prevent unlawful processing and access.
Personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, accurately, for specified legitimate purposes, in a limited and proportionate manner, and retained only for the period required by law or the processing purpose.
Data may be collected through automated or non-automated means via our offices, website, social media, mobile applications and similar channels. Records created while you use our products and services may be updated. Data may also be processed when you attend our training, seminars or events.
Your data may be shared with third parties for domain, license and SSL registration; with banks or card institutions for payments; with e-mail service providers; with e-invoice processors; with analytics providers; and with competent authorities where legally required.
Data may be transferred to public institutions and private parties for service delivery, product recommendations, legal and commercial security, business strategy and human resources processes, within the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.
Personal data is collected verbally, in writing or electronically so that Kuzey Datacenter can provide services within the legal framework and fulfil contractual and statutory obligations. Processing and transfer may take place under the conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.
You have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information if it has been processed, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, know third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction, object to results arising solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
You may submit requests regarding these rights in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Authority to info@kuzeydc.com. Requests are concluded within thirty days where possible; fees may apply for costly operations per the Authority's tariff.
