What a cloud server means
A cloud server is a virtualized instance provisioned in minutes. CPU, RAM and disk come from a shared pool with elastic resize. KuzeyDC cloud servers run on Istanbul Tier III infrastructure with NVMe and high availability.
Difference from VPS
VPS is also virtualization, but many VPS plans are fixed slices with limited auto-scaling. Cloud servers usually add APIs, snapshots, fast resize and more flexible billing.
- Cloud: elastic scale, fast provisioning
- VPS: fixed slice, typically simpler plans
- Dedicated: the entire physical host is yours
Difference from dedicated
Dedicated removes noisy-neighbor risk and suits license-sensitive consistent I/O. Cloud fits bursty traffic and short-lived environments.
- Sustained heavy load → dedicated or large cloud
- Fast trials / staging → cloud
- Simple steady sites → VPS can be enough
Choose based on control needs, budget and how often you scale.
